The Barn on New River has quickly become one of the most sought-after venues in the High Country. It sits on 90 private acres, bordered by the Southfork of the New River and surrounded by our beloved Blue Ridge Mountains. When you visit our venue, chances are you will never want to leave, the expanding views of the farm are just spectacular.
When you walk into our post and beam style barn, your eyes are immediately drawn to the soaring 30’ ceilings, beautiful Swarovski chandeliers as well as the string lighting, we have done all the decorating for you. There are two getting ready rooms with plenty of mirrors and seating to accommodate your needs. The barn also has a caterer’s kitchen and two large bathrooms. When you walk outside the enormous 14’ barn doors, you enter the stone cocktail area with lighting and a built- in bar. Just beyond the cocktail area is our ceremony site that features a beautiful wide isle, gorgeous pergola, and pond with a stunning fountain as your backdrop, along with the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Steps away from the Barn there is the large Dahlia Garden that is so enchanting that your guests can’t help but walk through. The Garden also provides the perfect backdrop for photos, or an additional location for a ceremony. Beside the garden is our Old Hay Barn that has outdoor lighting, a large fire pit area, and a covered porch that can serve as an additional cocktail area.
We have a 4 bedroom/3 bath log cabin for our guests, that is located on our farm and has 3 ponds, and river frontage, as well as a honeymoon suite located in the main house with it’s own private access.
