What is your capacity?

We can accommodate up to 200 seated guests.

Who sets up and tears down the tables and chairs?

The Barn will be responsible for all set up and tear down inside the barn, and at the ceremony site.

What is your hold policy?

We can hold a date for up to five days. We will release the date if we have not received a deposit and signed contract.

Will you have an attendant on site?

Here at the barn, we believe in service.  We will have a parking attendant, someone to shuttle guests, and an attendant.  We assign a point person to be your representative the entire weekend.

What are the hours for my event?

The Barn on New River stands out from others in this regard.  We feel there are so many things to do to prepare for your big day.  We will only hold one event per weekend.  This will allow you to start setting up at 2:00 pm on Friday and have your rehearsal Friday evening. That leaves all day Saturday to relax and enjoy your Wedding Day.  You will need to have everything removed from the Barn and cleaned up by 12:00 noon on Sunday.  Your rental is for an event period not exceeding seven (7) hours.  Your event must end by 11:00 pm.

Can we have sparklers?

Yes, we have a great designated area for that.

Do you cater?

Our job is to solely focus on your event as a host.

Is alcohol allowed?

You are permitted to bring your own beer and wine to the barn, we do however require you use a bartender.  If you are to serve alcohol, your caterer must supply the liability insurance and bartender.  The Barn on New River does not have a liquor license and we do not assume any responsibility for the use of any alcohol.  You are fully responsible for it.

Can we decorate?

Yes, you can. Note that all decorating with ladders must be done by an insured vendor.

Is parking provided?

Yes, we have an onsite parking lot. The barn will provide a parking attendant, as well as someone to shuttle your guests if need be.

When is my rehearsal?

The day prior to your wedding.

Can we have our dog as part of our wedding ceremony?

Yes, after the ceremony we do require they be taken off the premises.

Who is responsible for cleaning the Barn and trash?

You are responsible for returning the barn to the order you originally found it, the barn will take care of all the bagged trash, bathrooms, and mopping, putting up tables and chairs.
